The project includes two parts: chip module assembly and chip packaging and testing. On March 21, 2007, Micron was completed in Xi'an High-tech Zone. The factory is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise and is currently one of the largest foreign-invested enterprises in Shaanxi Province. The plant will primarily conduct testing and packaging of Micron's semiconductor products.
